Firstly find a mod which you like and want to download. Then download a mod to your PC. Mods are usually in .zip format file. But sometimes it can be in .rar. If a mod file is a .zip format no needed additional actions. If a file is in .rar, then you must unarchive mod with software like WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users no need to use software for archives, Win10 itself has a feature to unarchive files.
The next step is to find mods folder in your PC. Usually, it is in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator 19/2019. Open the "mods" folder and put downloaded .zip archive or unarchived .rar file to this folder.

I know that x16 maps would be never detailed as much as small maps but, this map needs details so much. For now we got XXX empty fields, thousands of trees and couple of buildings…
Smooth the terrain, add some details like stones, some houses, generally add life to the map. More colors, more buildings, more detail… this is what this map needs
thats because this map was leaked and the creator said f^*( it and just stopped working on it. it had huge potential until the person leaked it out.
That is a shame. The mapmaker was doing an incredible job. This looks like what a 16x map should be, not just 30 HUGE fields. Maybe someday we will see something like this.
would not have been leaked i imagine if it was not given out to people to test. but due to obsessive whining and chronic complainers who rant and throw fits about finding errors and nitpick about simple measly easy to fix problems mod map makers have resorted to trusting people to test before releasing .crap like leaking out maps and mods by supposed trusted testers before the creator wants them released has become a problem. the best and easiest way to stop this problem is give helpful advise and constructive ideas on what needs to be fixed and made better instead of whining like spoiled little brats and entitled little children.
